01 Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Anjum, the Abu Dhabi, UAE–based creator behind Jum’s Culinary Canvas ("Anjum", "we", "us"), handles personal information in connection with this portfolio and partnership website. For privacy questions or requests, message @jums_culinary_canvas on Instagram ↗ and identify your message as a privacy request. This website does not provide a checkout, user accounts or a newsletter sign-up.
02 Information you choose to provide
The enquiry form asks for your name, brand or company, email address, campaign idea and timing. A budget range is optional. Please provide only details relevant to your enquiry and avoid sensitive personal information, passwords, payment details or information about other people that you are not authorised to share.
03 How the enquiry form works
When you click “Send enquiry”, your form details are submitted to FormSubmit, a third-party form service, for delivery to our designated enquiry email inbox. FormSubmit may present a CAPTCHA and a confirmation page. FormSubmit and its service providers process the submitted details and technical information under their own privacy terms. We use the information to respond to your request. The website does not intentionally save enquiry values in cookies or browser local storage; browser autofill may retain information according to your settings.
04 Messages received by Anjum
If you send a message through Instagram or an enabled email channel, Anjum receives the information you choose to share, together with the account or contact details visible in that channel. We use it to respond, assess the proposed collaboration, discuss scope, keep necessary business correspondence and, where agreed, carry out a collaboration. We do not sell personal information or add enquiry contacts to a marketing list through this website.
05 Reasons for processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on valid consent or another basis permitted by that law, such as necessary steps requested by you in relation to a contract, performance of an agreed contract or compliance with a legal obligation. Making an enquiry is not blanket consent to unrelated advertising. Where processing depends on your consent, you may withdraw that consent; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
06 Hosting, technical information and security
The website is prepared for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. When it is served through Cloudflare, network and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request URLs, browser information and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from the enquiry form. Access and retention of technical records depend on the hosting services and settings in use. 07 Cookies, analytics and external platforms
The current website code does not set advertising cookies, run analytics or load embedded social-media players. Food imagery and fonts are served with the site. Hosting or security services may use necessary technologies depending on configuration. Visiting Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or a brand website takes you to a third-party service whose own privacy and cookie policies apply. We will update this notice and obtain consent where required before introducing optional tracking.
08 Sharing and international handling
We do not publish your private enquiry. Information may be handled by the hosting, messaging or email providers needed to operate the relevant service, by advisers where necessary and subject to confidentiality, or where disclosure is required by law or to protect legal rights. These services may process data outside the UAE. Where we arrange a transfer subject to applicable UAE data protection requirements, we will use the safeguards or permitted conditions required by that law. External platforms are also responsible for their own processing.
09 How long information is kept
Enquiries received by email are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry or collaboration, required record keeping, or legal claims. Service-provider copies and backups are subject to those providers’ policies. Your browser may retain form values through autofill or page restoration.
10 Your choices and rights
Subject to the law that applies and any lawful exceptions, you may request information about processing, access to or a copy of personal data held by Anjum, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction or cessation of processing, and withdrawal of consent where relevant. Additional rights, including portability where applicable, may also be available. Send a privacy request using the contact above. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also raise a complaint with the competent data protection authority. For data held independently by a social platform or hosting provider, use that provider’s rights-request process.
11 Children and changes to this notice
The partnership enquiry facility is intended for adults and authorised brand representatives. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can take appropriate steps. We may revise this policy when the website or its data practices change; the current revision date appears above. Material changes will be explained on the site where appropriate.
